Bill Pimpo, manager of the Spencer Lake Camp facility, is hosting the second annual “Taste Of Christmas” event on Saturday, December 10th this year. Last year, they had some 750 people from the Waupaca community as patrons, who enjoyed the festivities. This year, Bill expects well over 1,000 people, because he has some six churches participating vs. only one last year.

Here’s a rundown on what goes on:

The entire Spencer Lake campus is open for folks to roam around and enjoy the myriad of activities. Outside, there are bonfires, sleigh rides, snowmobile rides, hay rides and games. Inside the buildings are Santa, music, crafts, food and bake sales by various churches. The Charlie Justmann Band will provide the music and Ron Reynolds will  perform his  Sinatra Christmas Show. The WVH Honor Guard also does a tribute and The Waupaca Madrigal Singers perform. It is a festive time for all, big and small!
