Take Eucharist
- Nursing Homes – Shares Eucharist with nursing home residents in Waupaca and/or Iola after the 9:30 am Sunday Mass. Minimum age is 18.
- Homebound – Shares Eucharist and visits with homebound individuals in their homes as requested. Minimum age is 18.
Visiting
- Nursing Homes
- Homebound – Visits homebound parishioners; may offer assistance with shopping or other errands when necessary; maintains phone contact with homebound individuals.
Elizabeth Ministries

Elizabeth Ministers are people who are willing to share their presence, stories and experience in the hope that these will encourage a woman and her family. Brief visits, phone calls, e-mails, and cards provide support with a minimal amount of time.
Prayer Shawls
Contact Caroline Murphy
Knits and/or crochets Prayer Shawls for individuals who suffer because of illness, age, physical or emotional disability. Work either individually or with a group fashioning shawls in an atmosphere of prayer and reverence. Yarn and patterns are provided.
Chemo Angels

Chemo Angels is a volunteer organization dedicated to adding a ray of sunshine to the lives of those undergoing Chemo treatment.
Jail Ministry

Visits individuals incarcerated in the Waupaca County Jail. Training is necessary and will be provided.
Drivers

Provides transportation for older adults or for others requiring transportation to Mass. Provides transportation during the week for doctor appointments, groceries, etc.
St. Vincent De Paul

Works with other volunteers at the St. Vincent de Paul store in Weyauwega either sorting and pricing donated clothing. Proceeds benefit persons in need in the community.
Women’s Book Club

Meets weekly for discussion on the current book selection.
Respect Life

Sub-committee of Social Concerns committee. Meets monthly or as needed.
Medical Ministry

We will have a “medical person” available at all Masses and social gatherings.
Rosary for Life

The rosary is prayed on Sundays after the 9:30 am Mass.
Thursday Afternoon Prayer Group

Meets in Spirit Room for weekly prayer and Bible study. Receives, prays for and passes on prayer requests submitted by parishioners and others.
