This year we will celebrate All Saints Day and All Soul’s Day together at the same Liturgy. The Mass will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 7 pm. On that evening we will have a basket of small crosses on the center table in the Narthex. Those attending Mass may write the name of a deceased loved one, whom they would like to remember, on a cross (one per family please). The cross will then be hung on a special tree inside the church. If your loved one died during this past year and the funeral was held at SMM their name will already be written on a cross and hung up. The tree will be left up in the church for the entire month of November. At the end of the month you may take your cross home with you.

Sunday 8:00, 10 a.m.

Wilma Akright, executive director of Foundations for Living Waupaca, sent out an SOS. The warming shelter is now up and running for another winter season. SEASON # 5. They are hosting guests and providing each one with a warm and comfortable place to spend a cold winter night. Inside the warming shelter they are never alone. They always provide large doses of love, compassion and understanding.
Here is my SOS from Wilma: “I need you to take just one night during this winter season to serve at FFL as a warming shelter host. You can select your shift. We have 2 shifts. From – 10 p.m., Overnight shift 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. We always have 2 hosts on duty. Please call me today at: 920-505-0100. Or stop in at FFL to learn more.” ... See MoreSee Less
